Fall training...GO!

Fall training for the team is starting to be full swing! After a pretty fun and uneventful drive from Alaska me and the team are "stuck" in Minnesota while the truck (AKA "Rowdy) is being repaired!! You know its not good when you smell car fluid smell and have an oil like substance smeared all over the back of your truck and trailer... Sigh... I should be well on my way to being a certified mechanic at this point...

The good part in all of this was that I had PLANNED on being in Minnesota for a little while - that little while just got extended a little bit and I am in a great place for sled dogs. We are able to run pretty much every day and that is helping me NOT dwell on the fact that I am dumping more money into this vehicle that I just bought less than 2 years ago... Also that I didn't break down on the side of the road. It happened on the last dog drop before they came off the trailer to picket lines for the duration of our stay here. The dogs are sassy and are doing pretty well :) They don't care as long as they get to eat and run - that's what makes them happy!
